To have a stable social life, filter out those who get easily offended by offending them early on.
——
(As usual some people are getting the aphorism wrong. It does not mean one should offend people, it means that if people will eventually end up being offended it is much better early than late. Kapish?)

“Always say No, first. I have become a millionaire by saying NO.—Solomon Loeb.

John, this is an example of via-negativa, which you can read on N. Taleb’s latest “Antifragile”. By removing things, especially when you are fragile, one can achieve a healthier life style. For example, the body is irrational in which it can either exceed or be deficient rather than at its mean. Hence the soul controls the complex body to keep it within its mean, which you need to learn philosophy for. By controlling your body you can reach local antifragility, but it begins by removing things from consumption, and keeping an open mind.
