It is not a sequence, development or progression. The author defines his idea in the first section, but it only emerges out of repeated oscillations between more theoretical and technical descriptions, and real-world examples. Here\u2019s a model I\u2019ve used before to show specificity:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.pgeoghegan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Specificity.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-331\" src=\"http:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.pgeoghegan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Specificity.jpg?resize=300%2C180\" alt=\"Specificity\" width=\"300\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is self referential.<\/p>\n<p>The book does not \u201cmove-on\u201d, or develop an idea into something new. It only adds specificity. In doing so, it uses previous conclusions as starting points. It describes an example to identify a concept, then applies that concept to another example from which to draw a further point.
