Nassim Nicholas Taleb<\/a>, author of
\n\u201cThe Black Swan,\u201d said investors who lost money in the
\nfinancial crisis should sue the Swedish Central Bank for
\nawarding the Nobel Prize to economists whose theories he said
\nbrought down the global economy. <\/p>\n

\u201cI want to make the Nobel accountable,\u201d Taleb said today
\nin an interview in London. \u201cCitizens should sue if they lost
\ntheir job or business owing to the breakdown in the financial
\nsystem.\u201d <\/p>\n

Taleb said that the Nobel Prize for Economics has conferred
\nlegitimacy on risk models that caused investors\u2019 losses and
\ntaxpayer-funded bailouts. Sweden\u2019s central bank will announce
\nthe winner of this year\u2019s award on Oct. 11. <\/p>\n

Taleb singled out the Nobel award to Harry Markowitz<\/a>,
\nMerton Miller<\/a> and William Sharpe<\/a> in 1990 for their work on
